Christian solution to a growing problem

A limited number of residences for developmentally disabled adults exist. As longevity increases in our society, the needs of a growing population of developmentally disabled adults far exceed the resources available.

In Minnesota in 2007, more than 5,000 adults with development disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, mental health issues and related conditions are waiting for the kind of services we provide. Because of state funding reductions since 2002, more than 1,000 who used to receive services are no longer eligible.

Additionally, governmental agencies or local communities run many residences for developmentally disabled adults. Yet they are secular and embrace secular moral standards.

Covenant Enabling Residences of Minnesota offers a Christian alternative; a lifestyle grounded on biblically based Christian values and standards.
